I am Ana Rita, also known as Ana Ritovski, a visual artist living in Berlin. I graduated in Fine Arts, and since then, I’ve developed and exhibited my work in both Portugal and Germany. My artistic practice is interdisciplinary, encompassing various media such as video, drawing, photography, installation, sound, and performance. Many of my works are site-specific, drawing out intuitive memories of the places where they are created and presented. Through the use of colour, light, and textures, I aim to create visual and poetic experiences that explore archetypes related to human perception of the natural landscape. I conduct research in gardens, natural spaces, and urban environments.

I am Ana Ritovski also known as Ana Rita, I am also passionate about drawing and creating live digital drawing animations. One of my favourite areas of urban research is the electronic music scene. In this context, I am interested not only in new ways to experience sound and frequencies but also in new forms of social entanglement. My drawings are mostly abstract, but they tend to create macro and micro visions of natural organic forms and environments influenced by sound and movement. I have started creating audiovisual works and collaborating with DJs and experimental music makers, using real-time drawing to create live interactions through colour, light, and movement in response to sound experiences.
