Light drawings, activate the image, Would -> Don’t -> Rewind were made during a performance by Ana Rita and the visitors. The performance was at The waiting room, curated by Diegò Agullo at Agora Collective in Berlin.
“I’ve prepared all your tools, so I hope you’ll be comfortable working with them. We are having access to rewinding processes and, at the same time, to an endlessly pulling forward. Through repetition we’re developing layered time-lines. A chaotic happening is being revealed: a certain freedom activating an image. We are constantly being interrupted by promised fruits given by sovereignty. Servitude wiping our expression out by shaping repeated constraint lines. We are becoming small pieces chained to an whole gearing of a powerful machine feeding the possibility to achieve freedom. We just have to follow the instructions. The effort and sacrifice will reword us. We’ll learn how to be out of guilty by imitating and repeating. Now, that we’re free of slavering and there is no master-slave relation (all believe), it’s time to make an effort, to perform – We’ll be leaded to just a certain freedom that would activate its image.”
