A Íris e o olho is a series of prints and a flip book developed from the frames of Until It Falls (Noon). This work brings the video work in another materiality, and quality in space and time. Until It Falls (Noon) is a video capturing the Sun at noon. The video features a constant movement of the Sun approaching and receding, with its image reacting to the video lens. In Noon, the initial abstract imagery emerges from the intensity of light, causing the lens to focus and blur the Sun, which becomes the most prominent element. Until It Falls creates an abstract, meditative atmosphere that hints at the context of the filmed object, which is revealed at the end.
