Until it Falls (Noon) and Until it Falls (7pm) are video captures of the Sun at noon and seven in the evening, respectively. Both videos feature a constant movement of approaching and receding the Sun and its image reacting to the video lens. In Noon, the initial abstract image arises from the intensity of light, causing the lens to focus and blur the Sun as the most prominent element. In contrast, 7pm presents an abstract, kaleidoscopic image due to light interacting with the camera lens’s optical crystals. Untill it falls create an abstract, meditative atmosphere that hints at the context of the filmed object revealed at the end.
