Drop the Landscape in the Sky was a project created during an artistic residency at Hotel 25 in Berlin. The studio provided by the residency program was located at Theaterhaus Mitte. In the same block of buildings, there was a high school, and both entities shared an open space. In front of the school, there was a semicircular courtyard, which was chosen as the site for installing a swing. The swing was part of the installation and performance Drop the Landscape in the Sky and was positioned over an area of pigmented sand created by Ana Rita, where the actions took place and remained available for use by both the artistic and school communities. The boundaries of colours were blurred by the contamination of sand dispersed through movement, seen through the lens of swinging person. This is an interactive piece where the sense of vision plays an important role, capable of dropping the sky into the landscape and the landscape into the sky, opening new perspectives on colours and boundaries..
